The Ark Toddler Group

The Ark  is a toddler group in Morden. It takes place on Tuesdays from 9.30am to 11.30am at St George’s Hall in term time. Children under primary school age are welcome with their parents or carers.

What happens at the Ark

At the sessions, the children can play with a room full of toys.  We have a craft activity and short singing and story time, which includes a short Christian story. Tea and coffee is served for the adults.  During the pandemic, please bring drinks for the children. Refreshments are free of charge and served in disposable cups.

New Families are Welcome

The group is very friendly and new families are welcome.  We have an upper limit on numbers of no more than 20 families. We operate on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Cost of Session

Entry is £1 for the first child, and 50p per additional children. This is to help cover our costs. We offer concessions for people in financial difficulty.

Registration

Adults complete a registration form when they visit for the first time, providing emergency contact details.   Personal details will be protected as outlined in Our Data Privacy Notice. All of our helpers are volunteers from St George’s Church.  They are DBS checked and recruited in keeping with our safeguarding policy.

COVID Safety

Please do not attend the group if you or your child have had any of the Covid symptoms in the last 10 days. Everyone attending the ARK will be asked to santise their hands upon entry. Adults and children do not need to wear facemasks, but may if they wish.
