St George’s church and the adjacent hall is on Central Road in Morden (postcode: SM4 5RJ).
By Car
The church car park is directly in front of the building and has 6 spaces. There is free on-street parking all weekend and on weekdays from 4pm to 10am. Outside of these times, you will need a resident permit (M2) or to pay-and-display (RingGo. Location 19251. Max stay 2 hours).
Please do NOT park in the car park to the right of the church, which is only for the estate residents.
By Bus
The 470 bus stops at the Willows (stop B, C) on Central Road, opposite the church, but not on Sunday. The 93 and 80 stops on London Road (stop MC) and is a 10 minutes walk. The 164, 157, 118, 201 stops at Morden Hall Road (stop P, R) and is a similar distance to walk.
By Tube
The nearest tube station is Morden, at the end of the Northern line. It is about a 15 minute walk to St George’s. Cross the road at the lights, go down Aberconway Road, past Lidl. Take the right on to Morden Hall Road. At the large roundabout, turn down Central Road and St George’s is on the right.
By Train
St Helier is the nearest train station, which runs Southern link and Thameslink trains. It is a 10 minute walk from St George’s. Take a left onto Green Lane and then right on to Central Road. St George’s Church is on the left, after the Sainbury’s Local.
Accessibility
There is flat access to the church and hall through the central link door. The building has a disabled toilet with baby changing area, and a loop fitted in the church for hearing aids. Large print service materials can be made available if requested in advance.
