St George’s Church is small, friendly, like a family.  The St Helier estate is home.

We love the area; our families; hanging out with mates; being real; a bit of banter; eating together; getting to know new people; helping others; chatting about God; praying to Him; a thumping gospel tune, a meaty bit of Bible; and, most of all, the life changing person of Jesus Christ.  Meet some of our people.

We believe that your family matters to God.  He knows the real you. He sent his son, Jesus, to die for you.  He paid the price for our shameful acts so that we can be forgiven and proudly enjoy life with God forever.  He calls us to turn from our old life to receive his gift of new life.  It’s not an easy life, but it’s the best life. This video explains more.

We meet at Central Road on Sunday’s at 10.30am for our main church meeting, including children’s groups. We try to make all people feel welcome and are not formal.  We have various activities during the week, including the Ark Toddler Group and Seniors’ Film afternoon.  See our Visitors’ Guide.

We belong to the Morden Parish Team, which includes St Lawrence, Emmanuel and St Martin’s Church.  We’re Christ-centred, Bible teaching churches in the Church of England.  The team aims to help people know Jesus, grow to be like him, and go to serve him.  Here’s the team website.

Come and visit! Everyone is welcome.
