St George’s Church is a welcoming church that seeks to serve Christ on the St Helier estate in Morden, London.
WE MEET
On Central Road on Sunday’s at 10.30am for our main church service, including children’s groups. We try to make all people feel welcome and are not formal or stuffy. We have various activities during the week, including our Growth Groups and the Ark Toddler Group. See our Visitors’ Guide.
WE BELONG
To the Morden Parish Team, which includes St Lawrence, Emmanuel and St Martin’s Church. We’re Christ-centred, Bible teaching, mission minded churches that are part of the Church of England. The team aims to help people know Jesus, grow to be like him, and go to serve him. Here’s the team website. Meet our people.
WE BELIEVE
That your family matters to God. He knows our weakness and failings; that we hurt those we love the most and we ignore him. Yet, because of his love, he sent his son to disrupt our selfishness, to destroy death, and deal with judgment by dying on the cross. Jesus paid the price for our wrongdoing so that we can be forgiven and proudly enjoy life with God forever. He calls us to turn from our old life to receive his gift of new life.
