HEAR TRADITIONAL CAROLS, AND SAVOUR THE MESSAGE, AS WE HEAR AGAIN OF THE EVENTS THAT INSPIRED CHRISTMAS.
This year Christmas will be different for all of us. Church is open but due to the restrictions, our Christmas services will not be the same. We cannot accomodate as many people. We are not permitted to sing. We will have a mixture of online and live services. Vistors are most welcome.
Carols at Christmas. 6.00pm, Sunday 20th December
A carol service with Bible readings, telling us of the Saviour’s birth. The choir will cheer our hearts as we hear again of the coming of Jesus to bring comfort in darkness. This year our service will only be held online so people can sing at home.
Christmas Eve Candlelit Service. 4.00pm, Thursday 24th December
A short candlelite service with Christmas carols reflecting on Christ’s coming. This service will be instead of our usual Crib Service, which we are unable to hold because of the restrictions. Visit the church or watch the service live online.
Christmas Day Service. 10.30am, Friday 25th December
A service for all-ages celebrating Jesus in church. Make Christmas a real Christmas: come and join us to praise the Son of God, the best gift ever. Lasts around half-an-hour. Children can bring a toy to show. Visit the church or watch the service live online.
If you are a baptised Christian and would like to share Communion, there is an optional extension to the main service, after a short delay.
For more services through the Christmas and new year period, please see our Calendar.
You’re very welcome to the services, whether you have visited before or not; whether you are a Christian or not! Our visitor’s guide answers common questions about church. Masks will need to be worn in the buildings. For more on latest on COVID restrictions, please see on our web page.
