HOPE

A new year. Broken resolutions. Change is difficult. Get some inspiration!

Sunday 26th January, starting 6pm to 7pm

St George’s Church Hall, Central Road, Morden, SM4 5RJ.

Hear the story of Jason, a local businessman whose life seemed a success. Employing around 40 people in his building firm, married with kids, you wouldn’t know about his problem. One day, he couldn’t take it anymore and so he called into his local vicarage. It was the start of his journey to real change. Hear how he overcame his addiction through faith.

An evening for anyone wanting inspiration to change.

Music. Refreshments. Resources. All welcome. All free

No booking required; simply turn up on the night. Doors open at 5.30pm.

Christmas

Sing traditional carols, and savour the atmosphere, as we hear again of the events that inspired Christmas.

Carols by Candlelight. 6.00pm, Sunday 15th December

A traditional carol service, with Bible readings telling us of the Saviour’s birth, and the twinkling light of candles to help stir our hearts as we hear again of the coming of the worlds true light, Jesus.

Mince pies and Mulled Wine will be served afterwards.

Crib Service. 4.00pm, Christmas Eve

For families with smaller children – a great fun way to spend Christmas Eve afternoon, preparing for the great day.  A retelling of the Christmas story with dressing up.

Lasts about 45 minutes.

Christmas Day. 10.30am, Christmas Day Service

A service for all-ages celebrating Jesus.  Make Christmas a real Christmas: come and join us to praise the Son of God, the best gift ever. Lasts under an hour. Children can bring a toy to show.

If you are a baptised Christian and would like to share Communion, there is an optional extension to the main service, after a short delay.

You’re very welcome to the service, whether you have visited before or not; whether you are a Christian or not! See our visitor’s guide.

Christmas Lunch. 12.45pm, Christmas Day

A free Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings will be served in church from 12.45pm for those who want some company.  Bookings are now closed.
