The Ark Toddler Group
The Ark is a toddler group in Morden. It takes place on Tuesdays from 9.30am to 11.30am at St George’s Hall in term time. Children under primary school age are welcome with their parents or carers.
What happens at the Ark
At the sessions, the children can play with a room full of toys in a nice warm space. We have a separate room with ride-on toys. Every week, there is a short singing and story time, which includes a Christian story.
We often have craft activities and in the summer we use the garden when dry. Free tea and coffee is served for the adults throughout the session.
New Families are Welcome
The group is very friendly and new families are welcome. Parents bring toddlers and babies to the group. We have an upper limit on numbers of no more than 25 families per session. We operate on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Cost of Session
£1 donation per child is sugguested to help cover our costs. We accept bank cards or cash.
Registration
Adults complete a registration form when they visit for the first time, providing emergency contact details. Personal details will be protected as outlined in Our Data Privacy Notice.
Helpers
All of our helpers are volunteers or staff from St George’s Church. They are DBS checked and recruited in keeping with our safeguarding policy. We also sometimes take local college students on work placement.
